Resolution & Color Standards
To ensure artisanal quality at professional scale, please submit your work as high-resolution PDF or AI files with fonts embedded. All artwork must be at least 300 DPI and set to the CMYK color space for accurate reproduction. Always include a 0.125-inch bleed on all sides and maintain a Safe Zone for critical text and logos at least 0.125 inches inside the trim line. These standards help us avoid processing delays and ensure your vision translates perfectly to physical form.

What is the ideal file format for print?
We strongly recommend high-resolution PDF files. This standard ensures all fonts, graphics, and layouts remain exactly as you designed them throughout our digital printing processes.
Why must I design in CMYK instead of RGB?
RGB is used for digital screens, while CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is the standard for professional ink printing. Converting to CMYK prevents unexpected color shifts when your vision meets physical form.
What resolution should my images be?
For crisp, professional results, all images should be at least 300 DPI at their final print dimensions. Web-optimized images (72 DPI) are generally insufficient and will result in pixelation.
Do I really need to include bleeds?
Yes! Including a 0.125" bleed on all sides ensures that your graphics extend past the trim line. This prevents thin white margins from appearing around your artwork after the final cut.
